Music videos
Drop a song into Popcorn and the agent produces a music video for it: shots cut to the beat, an artist or character carrying the visual, and a coherent visual style across scenes.
When to use this
Section titled “When to use this”- You have an original or licensed track you want to visualize.
- You want a fast, scrappy lyric/concept video for promotion.
- You’re an artist building a portfolio of looks for the same song.
Prompt pattern
Section titled “Prompt pattern”Music video for
<song>.<Concept>.<Artist visual treatment>.<Style references>.
Attach the audio file to the message.
Examples
Section titled “Examples”Music video for the attached track. Concept: a lone figure walking through a city at night, lights reflecting off wet streets. Cinematic, neon-noir, like a Nicolas Winding Refn film. The artist appears in close-ups intercut with the city.
Make a music video for the attached song. Featuring
@Lunaas the artist. Shot in a desert at golden hour, then in a 70s motel at night. Color: warm sunset → cold neon.
What Popp will do
Section titled “What Popp will do”- Analyze the track — transcribe lyrics, detect BPM, profile the energy across the song.
- Write a scene-based shot list timed to the music structure (intro, verse, chorus, etc.).
- Generate consistent character references for the artist or featured characters.
- Produce each shot with the right tempo and visual style.
- Compose the final cut with the original audio.
- Provide the audio. This is the one format where attaching the actual track matters more than describing it.
- Cast the artist intentionally. If you’re the artist, create a character with your reference photo (and optionally clone your voice for any spoken intro). Then
@-mention it. - Describe a visual arc. Music videos work best when the look evolves across the song. Tell Popp what the journey is.
- Length follows the track. Popp will aim to cover the full song unless you specify a section.
Producing a section, not the whole song
Section titled “Producing a section, not the whole song”If you only want a 30-second teaser, say so:
Music video for the attached track — but only produce a 30-second teaser cut around the chorus.
Popp will still analyze the whole song but build only the section you asked for.
